Karnataka Civil Services (General Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2025:
NOTIFICATION
Whereas the draft of the Karnataka Civil Services (General Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2025, was published as required by Sub-Section (1) of section 3, read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990) in Notification No. DPAR 10 SRR 2024, dated: 04.09.2025 in part IVA of the Karnataka Gazette Extraordinary dated: 04.09.2025 inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be effected thereby within fifteen days from the date of its publication in the official Gazette.
And whereas the said Gazette was made available to public on 04.09.2025.
And whereas no objections and suggestions have been received in this behalf by the Government
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990), the Government of Karnataka hereby make the following rules, namely:-
RULES
1. Title and Commencement.-(1) These Rules may be called the Karnataka Civil Services (General Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2025.
(2) They shall come in to force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Ammendment of Rule 9.- In the Karnataka Civil Services (General Recruitment) Rules, 1977, in rule 9, in sub-rule (IAA), under the Explanation, in clause (ii), after the words “widowed grand daughter”, the words “married daughter,” shall be inserted

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಿವಿಲ್ ಸೇವೆಗಳ ಅಧಿನಿಯಮ, 1978 (1990ರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಅಧಿನಿಯಮ 14)ರ 3ನೇ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ 2(ಎ) ಉಪ ಪ್ರಕರಣವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕರಣ ತಿರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಓದಿಕೊಂಡು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗತ್ಯಪಡಿಸಲಾದಂತೆ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಿವಿಲ್ ಸೇವಾ (ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ) (ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ) ನಿಯಮಗಳು, 2025ರ ಕರಡು ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ದಿನಾಂಕ:04.09.2025ರ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪತ್ರದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಂಚಿಕೆಯ ಭಾಗ IV-ಎ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಸೂಚನೆ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ: ಸಿಆಸುಇ 10 ಸೆನ 2024, ದಿನಾಂಕ:04.09.2025ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿ ಅದರಿಂದ ಬಾಧಿತರಾಗಬಹುದಾದಂತಹ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಂದ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ರಾಜ್ಯಪತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ನಿಯಮಗಳು ಪ್ರಕಟವಾದ ದಿನಾಂಕದಿಂದ 15 ದಿನಗಳ ಒಳಗಾಗಿ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಲಹೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅಹ್ವಾನಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ,
ಸದರಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ದಿನಾಂಕ:1ನೇ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 2025ರಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ದೊರೆಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ,
ಮತ್ತು ಸದರಿ ಕರಡಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ, ಯಾವುದೇ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಣೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಲಹೆಗಳು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವೀಕೃತವಾಗಿಲ್ಲದಿರುವುದರಿಂದ,
ಈಗ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಿವಿಲ್ ಸೇವಾ ಅಧಿನಿಯಮ, 1978 (1990ರ ಅಧಿನಿಯಮ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ: 14) ರ 3ನೇ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ 1ನೇ ಉಪ ಪ್ರಕರಣವನ್ನು 8ನೇ ಪ್ರಕರಣದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಓದಿಕೊಂಡಂತೆ ಪ್ರದತ್ತವಾದ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಚಲಾಯಿಸಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಈ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ರಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ಎಂದರೆ:-
ನಿಯಮಗಳು
1. ಶೀರ್ಷಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭ:- (1) ಈ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಿವಿಲ್ ಸೇವಾ (ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ) (ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ)
ನಿಯಮಗಳು 2025 ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯತಕ್ಕದ್ದು.
(2) ಇದು ರಾಜ್ಯಪತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಗೊಂಡ ದಿನಾಂಕದಿಂದ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ಬರತಕ್ಕದ್ದು,
2. ನಿಯಮ 9ಕ್ಕೆ, ತಿದು ಪಡಿ:- ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಿವಿಲ್ ಸೇವಾ(ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ) ನಿಯಮಗಳು, 1977ರ ನಿಯಮ 9ರ ಉಪನಿಯಮ (ಎಎ)ಯ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವ ವಿವರಣೆಯ ಖಂಡ(ii)ರಲ್ಲಿನ “ವಿಧವಾ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗಳು’ ಪದಗಳ ನಂತರ “ವಿವಾಹಿತ ಮಗಳು” ಎಂಬ ಪದಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸತಕ್ಕದ್ದು,
ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು, ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಗಳು, ಖಾಸಗಿ ಕಂಪನಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ನಮ್ಮ ವಾಟ್ಸಾಪ್ ಗ್ರೂಪ್ ಮತ್ತು ಟೆಲಿಗ್ರಾಮ್ ಚಾನೆಲ್‌ಗೆ ಸೇರಿ.
